tuppergirl
Hi all, I've a couple of questions on the admin control panel. I hope to get some pointers on these and thanks in advance for any input and guidance given. 1. Is it possible to control the admin access level? Assigning different levels control to different admins? For e.g. The web master is allow to access all files while another user is restricted to insert products categories, check orders, process orders..etc but have no access to edit the php files. 2. The admin panel allows product images to be uploaded but is it possible to have the logo uploaded from the admin panel itself? 3. Is it possible to edit the fonts size and colors from the admin control instead of manually edit the css files each time? Basically, I hope to be able to do all the mini changes via admin control panel to save more time in the long run. Are all these feasible? Are there any contributions already for them? Thanks sincerely.
tuppergirl
on top of the above... I've few more questions and hope to hear your views on them.. 1. Why is the default admin control comes without a "log off" option? 2. Is it possible to control which infoboxes we want to display by selecting them from the admin panel? For e.g, after some time, I would want to take out one box and add another box, do I have to re-edit the php files manually each time and do the upload again? Is it possible that we can have options in the admin panel and select which are the infoboxes we want to add/replace? I'm sorry if my questions sound ignorant and naive enough. I'm a newbie who is very much interested in learning php and mysql but at a raw stage of it. I'm really amazed and excited with this learning journey. Thanks for any input in advance and appreciate your time taken.
