intradesigns
I'm having a tough time, and hoping anyone might be able to help. Someone came to me with a copy of an OSCommerce site on a CD-ROM and wanted me to upload it and get it working. I've got in on a linux site now, but having a lot of problems. I can't get the MySQL database uploaded correctly (for some reason, I can't find an upload or import button in PHPMyadmin). Nothing works, can't get into the admin page (probably because it can't find the database). I was getting a 1046 error, so I created a new, blank database. Now it's the "1146 - Table 'xx_osc2.configuration' doesn't exist" error. I'm pretty sure I've got the file and folder permissions set correctly (I've installed OSC a couple of times, just never like this before). Any initial ideas? Thanks! akosh
Select the database and click on 'SQL' and either copy and paste it in the text field or select the file and click on go.
intradesigns
I knew it had to be something simple, but that was SIMPLE. Thanks! I didn't realize you could just cut-n-paste into a sql database. And thanks for answering such a simple question, I appreciate it! Ty Select the database and click on 'SQL' and either copy and paste it in the text field or select the file and click on go. <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
