Categories Box highlight background?

Hi all,

 

Ive had a look through the contributions but couldnt find anything to do this, but I may have missed one.

 

In the categories info box when you float over each category, the text highlights.

Does anyone know how to make the background of that line highlight instead/as well ?

 

I tried looking at how this is done on the Admin pages, for the main tables in the centre of the page where the background highlights as you float over, but couldnt understand the code for it :(

 

Ideally id like to make it so the main category backgrounds highlight, but sub-categories do not.

 

Can anyone help?
