@martin@
We've put open_basedir into affect on one of our websites but get the error: Warning: session_save_path(): open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/tmp) is not within the allowed path(s): (/usr/local/apache/htdocs/www.clearwire.ie/iopen24/) in /usr/local/apache/htdocs/www.clearwire.ie/iopen24/admin/includes/functions/sessions.php on line 202 I understand why we get it but how do we get rid of the message as we are storing the sessions in the database. Guest
We've put open_basedir into affect on one of our websites but get the error: Warning: session_save_path(): open_basedir restriction in effect. I went to the admin oscommerce section, chose "Configuration" and then "Sessions" and changed the "Session Directory" value from "/tmp" to "". This has stopped the error messages. I am using the database for sessions (as is described in other posts on this forum) and I have tested the shop and there seems to be no ill effects from doing this. I'd be interested to hear from anyone if there are known problems with doing this, although there should not be as the sessions should no longer be influenced by this value as I'm using the database.
