starachna
Hello community, i hope you are doing great! A customer placed an order today and paid for it via credit card (which confirmation email I received) but I never got an email from OSCommerce, nor was tehre any new orders in the Admin Side? I did a test order which I received and also checked the email logs, it's asif the order was never place !?! If someone can pls help, I'd really appreaciate it! ps. I have requested mysql logs, and will check them once i have them. thank in advance! ciao/riaan ps. i tried searching the forums, but i keep on getting an error, one of my search words were less than 4 chars!! i tried to search for: order placed but no order in admin no order paid order no order email all of those contain no ... i think it's a bit silly to have the seacrh only accept words longer than four(4)chars. Guest
Which payment module are you using? It is not silly to restrict to 4 characters - this greatly reduces server load when 300 people are searching at one time! :P Matti

Guest
Try doing a test order using a default payment module (COD) - if this is successful then we have narrowed the problem to your payment module :D Matti

Matti <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hello Matt, i cannot replace checkout_process.php as i have other contributions which altered the file, also, i am now going to have a chat to the developer who wrote Iveri module, and hopefully i can sort it out that way, and get the bug out ;) the shopping cart is doing orders and sending emails just fine, this is only the second time something like this happened. thanks for your help thus far, it pointed me in th right direction! will update this post as i go along, ciao/riaan
♥Vger
To reduce load on the server AND get search results which include words of less than four letters, use Google search. If I want to nail down a problem with osCommerce I use Google and it gives me the links to the forum pages where it was discussed, and no restriction on the number of letters in a word.
