Hello all I am noticing a few things that I'm sure someone can possibly

point me in the right direction or supply the answer.

- In the catalog/images folder I notice table background image files

quite a few of them. What are these?

- If I have deleted the oSCommerce banner from within admin and changed

the settings to post my own banner (which I thought I uploaded from

within admin) would the banner i thought i uploaded be found in the

catalog/images/banners directory?

- If i have deleted all the default manufacturers logos and product

images can i delete their respective directories from within

catalog/images? :-"

Thats all for now.

1. If I'm not mistaken, these are your button images

2. Not sure, will have to research that one.

3. Wouldn't recommend it. An empty directory takes up very little space, and I'm not altogether certain the directories aren't references in some php file that no one knows about. Have you added your own mfr logos and product images? Where do those wind up?

The table background images are actually what appears in the heading for the respective table you are viewing ie: checkout screen at the top right, the two shopping bags, this is a table_checkout image file.

Did a little searching and found that even if the banner image is inserted into the banner directory within the catalog/images folder, it does not change the banner. Instead I guess I will just change my banner name to oscommerce and overwrite the one on the server if i can find it.

Yeah, I will leave the directories as they are. My manufacturer logos end up in the catalog/images folder.

Hope this helps someone.

Cheers and thanks!

Matt
