Image enlarge? Confused gal

Hi.. i know this topic must be shred to pieces. but i'm confused about what i should do.

I actually just want the pictures on the individual product pages to be of a bigger size (then i don't need the enlarge button). the pictures on the catalog pages e.g. would be smaller (this one i know can be controlled via the admin pages).

How should i do this? If there a contribution that is tried and tested... and "idiot-proof" 'cos i'm not good at this.

and it will put the full sized image on the product description page and remove the link for the pop up.

Oh, should add that there are contributions that will allow you to have multible images per product(different images, additional images and even different sizes ie: small medium large), as well as ones that create thumbnails so you can do a lot of things to your images and product pages. :)

Hi Wendy. need your advice. I've been ploughing thru the contributions for images. Frankly, i'm quite lost. Can you advise which is a easy to implement contribution that i can use (i.e. minimal interference to the original oscommerce download, yet easy to implement).

i started updating my product descriptions on the original oscommerce download (just short of uploading the images). Thinking back, that was quite silly of me. Should have looked for a optimal way ie contributions first... before starting..

Anyway, any advice would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks!

Wendy..help me! Followed your instructions on editing the product_info... encountered the following error. I reloaded the original product_info file.. but the error remains. What should i do?? Frantic now.

Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Thanks. it worked!

could you recommend a contribution to manage different sizes of image ? one which is easy to implement. e.g. once i get over this stage .. i wanna put in something that will allow me to see multiple views of the pdts... but nothing too complicated to implement.

i've seen a few on the contributions page:

I have never tried the one you linked but I have used

and

both of which work well and about the same.

The one you linked sounds pretty easy though.
