Problems arranging sub categories correctly

fut

Recommended Posts

I have 23 sub categories for one of my categories that are jumbled up. (i.e. gadget3, gadget1, gadget2) that i'd like to list correctly (i.e. gadget1, gadget2, gadget3)

There is no option that I see to "move up" or "move down" sub categories. How do I arrange this?

Thanks!

In a related problem, when a category is selected, a picture for each sub category should be viewable in the main table. For some reason there is no pictures under categories - (however under new products for july pictures appear) Pictures for each of my sub categories have already been selected so why aren't they viewable -

Thank you.

Go to your Admin>Categories page. Click on the category you want to move and click on "Edit". By default, your categories are set to sort order of zero. If all are set to zero, they will appear alphabetically. To change the order, change the sort order number. Zero will appear first, followed by 1,2,3...

I'm not following you on the problem here. To set the category image, click on the subcategory name in Admin>Category and click on "edit". Upload the image you want to associate with that subcategory.

What are your image settings for the subcategory - look in Admin>Config>Images.

Hey Stas,

Your other solutions fixed the problem with that. Thanks.

About the sub category images - everything looks fine under admin->config->images

I have already assigned images to my sub categories through the same way you stated, but they just do not view. Take a look at my website and take a look:

www.crazyjordans.com -> click on nike air jordans

Thanks again for your help.
