shaunklink
I'm implementing an osCommerce section into a site that already has large traffic loads. I've heard that occasionally BOTS can screw up a site. I've also heard that when a user goes to a page within osCommerce, that occasionally they are resuming someone else's session (presumably they were cached from a search engine index). any suggestions to combat this before it happens? this site is going to be very popular
hubcat
Download the latest spider.txt file from: http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,2455 In admin -> config -> sessions, set prevent spider sessions to true, set recreate session to true That should do it, but if you're still concerned or find you're still having issues, also set force cookie use to true (although I've heard this can cause you to lose some customers). Hope that helps, Adrienne
