checkout_shipping.php does not work right

I just did a fresh install and added the UPS and USPS modules. I have a registered acct with UPSP and used that login info for setup.

 

I am receiving the following error on the checkout_shipping.php page:

Yes, it works, but you can't use it in testing mode. USPS data restrictions won't allow much real-world testing.

 

Call them and ask to be moved to the production server.

I did finally get it to work by having USPS allow me to be switched to the production server. Thank you again.

 

:o I was wondering if anyone has been successfull in using the UPS and USPS logic in another shopping cart? I have one I designed years ago, which is very easy to implement. It only lacked a shipping component.

 

I am trying to incorporate osCommerce's shipping logic into my cart program.

That shouldn't be too hard to do. Both UPS and USPS have an XML interface to their on-line services. UPS also has a plain POST-based interface, but that one is not recommended. I'd stick with the XML. Both services have a description of their interface available online, although it takes a bit of digging to find this information.
