baesic2
What your're looking for is a simple CMS "Content Management System" Go to any search engine and type in the search box, Free CMS the many out there I am sure that will fit your needs. ♥Vger
You can use osCommerce. Don't set up any payment by credit card options, and just rename the Check/Money Order module to something like 'Online Enquiries'. People would add items to their cart, but intead of buying them they'd receive an 'order' acknowledgement, which would actually be an 'enquiry' acknowledgement (you'd have to amend the text of the order e-mail), and you, as the site owner, would receive a copy of what they have enquired about - and you can take it from there. Vger <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Vger, I am trying to do the same function - to disable all pricing and only use my store for enquiries. On a default insatll, I disabled product pricing under "Product Listing". But when I click on Software or DVD movies, it shows the new products for September and displays the price. How do I get rid of that? On the individual product details page, is it as simple as editing out the product_info.php file and deleting the price display code? Any other tips would be appreciated! Mambo Michelle <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I had a company develop my site which is also an online b2b site but no selling online. The web designer picked os commerce and changed it to fit my needs. We went way over budget as a result of the various limitations of oscommerce and what custom work needed to be done to modify the site. It cost me a ton of personal time as well. In the long run the site looks good but I am having problems managing many aspects of the site where our old site with dreamweaver was much easier to deal with Rob

Kai920
Vger - I am looking for what the original poster wants - disable all pricing but keep the cart there as an enquiry tool. For an example of exactly what I am after, please refer to http://www.hklight.com.hk/index_topic.php?...th=/147/150/888. Browsers simply click "enquiry" under each product, and "send enquiry" will bring them to a form where they can fill out some simple contact information. This is the sort of email that the store owner will receive: COMPANY : CONTACT : Testing ADDRESS : hello testing TEL NO. : FAX NO. : EMAIL : [email protected] ENQUIRY : askljfdasfdlasdfasfd DATE : 2005-09-2 Request Product : Blue American Lighthouse Lamp.jpg|Sitting Santa Lamp.jpg|Xmas Tree Lamp.jpg| robertw477 - If it's convenient, would you mind PM'ing me the URL for your site? As for CMS, I've just recently started dabbling with Mambo, might be worth a look : www.mamboserver.com.
