Guest Posted July 10, 2005 Posted July 10, 2005 You need to copy your images directory to your secure directory... or your permissions are wrong - I cannot view your website at all (permissions) Matti
jgallen23 Posted July 10, 2005 Author Posted July 10, 2005 what permissions could be wrong? You need to copy your images directory to your secure directory... or your permissions are wrong - I cannot view your website at all (permissions) Matti <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Guest Posted July 11, 2005 Posted July 11, 2005 what permissions could be wrong? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The permissions of the directories on your web server. :P Matti
jgallen23 Posted July 11, 2005 Author Posted July 11, 2005 I have a dedicated SSL IP. Isn't it werid that everything would show up except for the images? What should the directory permissions be?
AlanR Posted July 11, 2005 Posted July 11, 2005 It could be three things 1) The second folder issue. Does your server have separate folder for secure access? 2) The permissions (chmod) of the images folder, try 777 3) Sometimes hot linking protection is set up and it keeps the https link from accessing the images. Check for hotlinking controls in your control panel. I got this error Forbidden: You don't have permission to access /images/featured-items.jpg on this server. Local: Mac OS X 10.5.8 - Apache 2.2/php 5.3.0/MySQL 5.4.10 • Web Servers: Linux Tools: BBEdit, Coda, Versions (Subversion), Sequel Pro (db management)
jgallen23 Posted July 13, 2005 Author Posted July 13, 2005 setting 777 on the folder didn't work I'll look into the settings on my host. I'm using lunar pages in case anybody is familiar with them
