easy populate problem

Hi,

 

I used easy populate and downloaded my products, then used Microsoft excel to update the file. When export back to notepad, I lose the commas and double quotes.

 

Example:

 

Item, "product","item#","price","x","y"

 

after I look at it in excel and export back to notepad,

 

the above line looks like this;

 

Item, product, item#, price, x, y.

 

here is how I save the file from excel. File>save as>.csv(comma delimite)

 

If anybody can give me a rundown on how to manipulate this file between text editor and excel, please help me out.

change easypopulate.php to tab delimited

the current (2.76) someone changd to semicolon which causes grief

How do I change easy populate to tab delimited. Do you mean resave easy populate to tab delimited?

this should be the correct link. if you read my answer again, it states to edit your easypopulate.php file, not the data.
