Forgotten Password email

I can change the text, but I want to know if there is any danger in removing the line about IP address as in

 

"'A new password was requested from ' . $REMOTE_ADDR ."

 

Is this line necessary, or am I safe in taking it out? I can't see a need for this, but I may be missing the obvious (I'm a little brain dead right now). I searched the knowledge base and forums but didn't find anything.

It's ok to remove it - all it does provide some additional information to the reader to possibly help them understand who requested the change. I agree it's not terribly useful to most people.
