AverageJoe Posted July 8, 2005 Posted July 8, 2005 Hey all, I'm currently setting up a site that will use the cc payment module so I can manually enter the numbers into my terminal. I called AMEX to ask about how to get my terminal to accept the CVV (or CID) number when typing in information manually, and when I explained why I needed to do this, they said I have to be certified with AMEX to pass CID numbers and told me to contact this webpage. Has anyone been told they need to pay to do this before?
Jud Posted July 8, 2005 Posted July 8, 2005 never been told. When I started out I didn't even take the CVV numbers. But taking them will reduce your credit card rate. Jud

Jud <{POST_SNAPBACK}> One thing to note (and not sure if the contribution has been updated) the CVV contribution does not accept the American Express 4 digit CVV number, I had to do a quick fix on a clients site to allow it. This was the CVV2 contribution
