Admin Images

Hi there,

I installed OSC a few weeks ago and have this little problem. None of the images in the admin console show up. You can see that here is supposed to be an image there but the picture just isn?t there.

When I add a new product and upload the image and preview, the image that I uploaded does the same thing. If I complete the adding of the product the image does show up in the shop.

Here is a screen shot of what I?m seeing:

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

What does the admin section think the complete URL is to the image?

Dont forget to Search. Your problem has already been fixed before.<br>

The problem is most likely your admin/includes/configure.php file is not set up correctly. If you post it here, minus the sensitive data, someone will look at it for you.

While in the admin console if i right click on the broken image the link it shows is: http://catalog/images/7063-100-large.gif

from the live shopping cart where the picture actually does work is at:

http://www.dallascctv.hypermart.net//catal...3-100-large.gif

Thanks,

Found your problem Terry. It's an easy fix:

Get rid of the extra "/" in front of /catalog/ in the following lines:

define('DIR_WS_CATALOG', '//catalog/'); // absolute path required

define('DIR_WS_ADMIN', '//catalog/admin/'); // absolute path required

That should work for you.

This is normally due to wrong setup in

admin/includes/configure.php

If your files are stored in the root i.e. pulic.html folder then don't put anything in front of /admin/ in your setup if there not in the root but there's another or others then put them before /admin/ i.e. catalog/admin or whatever

This is a shared SSL set up with files in the root change the site and https:// addresses to your own.

Also make sure not to leave empty spaces before <?php at the top of the page and ?> at the bottom php don't like empty spaces at the beginning or end of a page it can cause errors if there are.
