How do you remove the oscommerce blurb at bottom of the page?

How do you rename the meta tags and page title of each page?

prior to removing oscommerce at the bottom of the page you should read thru the gpl licensing, as it is not to be removed if you do not have a total and unique store distinguishing it from being an osCommerce store.

for meta tags, that does not come installed with the default installation of osCommerce, you need to read through that contribution to understand how it works.

post a link to the site and we can help you a bit more.

I am looking for a good resource to modify my metatags. I am not sure which to utilize? Here is my link, swatguy Any thoughts? I am also trying to find where the files for the images on the top of the home page are. I would like to remove the images, but can't find the text. Thank you

But you don't really want to remove that link, do you? After all, so much hard work has gone into creating the software it's not nice to just yank it ... why not just add your own line as well?

Also, when you submit the entry as a Live Shop it's way easier to approve it if the Powered By osCommerce line is still there!

I've seen several stores that say something like:

Powered by osCommerce and "blah" (where blah is just another link to the store's homepage)

Nothing wrong with that! (As long as the usual GPL stuff is met, as mentioned by John above).

The worst is to replace osc with the name of your company, when the only thing you changed was the colors and the logo...

Designed by, would have worked, but powered by...I don't understand. They do the same for Mambo, etc.
