Totally Lost Posted July 6, 2005 Posted July 6, 2005 Comparing the thumbnail contribs out there, as im badly in need of one...i wonder if anyone has any suggestions/experience on either of these contribes? or Can suggest one for me? I only use, .gif's and .jpg's and dont need anything too elaborate. Make big picture smaller....so they can load faster, simply as that. Default images simplified vs. Thumbnailer with caching vs. Automatic Thumbnailer Feel free to check the link if you are not famiur with them, any suggestions?
niknakgroup Posted July 6, 2005 Posted July 6, 2005 Thumbnailer with caching saves you a crap load of bandwidth - from what I remember the install can be a little bumpy, but well worth it in terms of savings in pennies on bandwidth, and in page load times...take a look at my site to see it in action. Please note - if I have suggested a contrib above, it doesnt mean it will work! Most of the contribs are not ones I've used, but may be useful for your particular problem.... Have you tried a refined search?
