Meta Tags Mod - How Do I Set Index.php?

We recently moved a store up to the root directory, so now index.php is our store.

 

I would like to have the title tag on the home page to be unique. Right now it has a hypen and then the meta tag.

 

How can i set the title tag for the home page only without messing with the meta tags on the other index.php pages that is controlled by the contribution?

What contribution is it? If Header Tags, then you need edit the english/header_tags.php file (or use the tool in admin->Header Tags).

Yes Header Tags controller - Is there supposed to be an option in my admin to add a specific title tag to the home page. I know the 3 fields for the categories, prodcuts, etc. are there, but I don't see anywhere for making a specific title tag for the home page?

 

I'm wondering if I missed a part of the contribution for added a link to the tools in the admin, where I would edit the title tag for home page?

It depends on what version you are using. A section was added to admin around version 2.4 that allowed you to change the title of thepage via admin. If youhave an earlier version, you can still change it but you have to do it by editing the english/header_tags.php file.
