Hi have just installed this great contribution and have one (hopefully) small problem.

I use the Simple Template System and with this enabled I dont get the error messages on checkout (invalid coupon code etc).

Without it enabled it works fine.

Is anyone else using this and STS and if so is there a workaround.

I have installed and tested the latest contribution for gift voucher and coupon, but I found the coupon does not work at all. gift voucher can work very well.

each time I redeem the coupon, no changes for toal value, nothing happen.

any one got ideas for this probles?

for the sort order, i set coupon sort order is 9, default, and voucher is 740 default. however, i also tried to set coupon sort order is 750, 730. but all not work.

any help wil be very appreciated.

you migh need to change the order so this appears before the total or sub-total. Try it and let us know.

oh, i tried, it seems not work, I set coupon order is 9, subtotal is 20, total 40. works same as before.

I can cee the coupon info, but price not deducted the coupon price.

Strider,

I noticed that the contribution works really well. I do have one question about emailing a ovucher to another person.

When a person emails a voucher to someone... it shows on the screen the gv code to redeem the voucher.

Is there a way to turn this off? I performed a test and sent myself a voucher then redeemed the code as the sender. It allowed me to add the voucher amount back into my account.

When I received the email I also tried to redeem the voucher as the recipient... and was told that the voucher was already redeemed or and invalid number.

For this reason I want to disable the viewing of the voucher number from the sender.

What file do I have to modify to achieve this?

I have installed the B2BSuite contribution. Is this contribution allows me to setup coupons for different customer groups that I've setup in the B2BSuite? Does anyone try this before?

I have a question about the Gift voucher system.

Is there a report that will tell how much money is unclaimed from gift vouchers sent?

Also, is there a way to know the total amount of gift voucher money in all the user accounts?

I need to know as that money has been paid to us as a store but we have not shipped any product for it and it should not be spent or used until the customers have spent those dollars.

Well, if you look at it as pseudocode - what you've told the module to do is

PRINT COUPON REDEEM CODE
PRINT COUPON REDEEM CODE
PRINT COUPON REDEEM CODE

which, if you think about it, is just going to print the coupon redeem code three times. When what you need to be doing is

DO
GET COUPON REDEEM CODE
PRINT COUPON REDEEM CODE
UNTIL REDEEM CODE = RETURN CHARACTER

At least, thats how it appears to me.

Hi, I have this contribution all up and running. The only thing left is When I purchase a gift voucher it is charging for shipping even though the weight is set to zero?

I did have a problem enabling downloads though as suggested. When I do enable them I get this message on the top of my homepage:

Warning: The downloadable products directory does not exist: /home/popcorn/public_htmldownload/. Downloadable products will not work until this directory is valid.

Can anyone please help me out here?

Hello, I need to know how to make it so that the discount coupon does not apply to the price of giftwrapping.

I would just like the discount to only apply to the subtotal price. Any ideas?

Currently this is what I'm getting:

1 Product: $53.00

Sub-Total: $53.00

Special Promotions:15%off: $8.33

CA TAX 8.5%: $4.51

(3 Business Days): $14.50

(Gift Wrap): $2.50

Total: $66.18

If you do the math, you'll realize the discount should only be $7.95. But its somehow including the price of the giftwrap before calculating hte discount.

It's driving me crazy... any ideas?

Please, check that you have all configuration in order. It seems like you don't have a TABLE_COUPON_GV_CUSTOMER defined.

I am afraid that the dc/gv-system is not designed for multiple discount coupons. The reason for this is also a security reason, i.e. a customer may only use one discount coupon for each order. If a customer redeem two different coupons only the last will be "active" and the first one "inactive" so to speak.

It's quite some work to do in order to be able to redeem several discount coupons.

I just installed this today and it works like a champ except for this error :

Parse error: parse error in /home/graveyar/public_html/create_account.php on line 292

Not sure what line 292 is, but here's my code from that page:

there are quite a few good PHP editors out there, PHPEdit (freeware) etc. I am quite often ending up using Notepad or Wordpad for editing my PHP files. Notepad supports "Goto Line ...". I am sorry for being harsh, that was not my intention.
