kernelpanik Posted July 7, 2005 Posted July 7, 2005 someone? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I am assuming you mean you want to password protect the Admin section when I say : Set up .htaccess for the Admin folder If you don't know how to do it, then I would advise googling it. Basics are : Generate username/password Create .htaccess in folder to protect, with valid username Create password file in non web folder with generated pword.

The above assumes Apache. I have win2003 and IIS6. You cannot password protect a directory with IIS6 so I have implemented a .PHP script to manage this for me. I used PHP Gaurd Dog But it cost a few $$. You can find one for free at: HOT SCRIPTS Hope this helps, Mike
