Change display of prices

I have a little problem with the display of the prices in my onlineshop:

 

The prices are shown like for example "4,99?" without a space before the currency symbol. I would like it to look like this: "4,99 ?". You may have a look at it here: http://www.digitalelite.de.

 

I tried putting a a space before the currency symbol in the admin section, but this didn't make a change.

 

Does anyone know what I have to do to make it look the way I want it?

I needed that too as I think it looks silly in any currency without it. Instead of hitting the space bar, type in   which will show up in HTML as a cute space :-)

adding   works but it shows up   in invoices which are not html. is there another solution ?

off to make a screenshot of MY invoice for you ... it is a html document o of course the space is still a space there ...
