crash3903
I'm probably wrong but check the folder permissions and if the sql file physically exists on the server Regards Mark A Reynolds

Saschagill
Hi, Have you actually created the database using the oscommerce.sql file yet? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I have not created the database yet, since the auto install can not find the oscommerce.sql file. However I can physically see the file in front of me t the right directory

Saschagill
Ok what part do u get up to in the installation when u get the error? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Craig, I am currently in the new installation. I have done the bit where it asks you for the database server information, username, passwort and so on.. After that I am on my way to the database import. Where it tells me that the test connection made to the database was sucessful. Now the software wants to import the database : install/oscommerce.sql and this is where I get the error message.
