jamescalvin Posted July 3, 2005 Posted July 3, 2005 Hi All, OK, my question is this. I don't currently have a database with the company hosting my website. Would I still be able to use PHP MyAdmin and set up the database that way? Or does my hosting company need to set something up on their end? Also, once I do install PHPMyAdmin, can I edit my tables using MySQLCC or should everything be done in phpMyAdmin?? I tried doing a search on this but I didn't quite get the answer I was looking for. Thanks Web Development, 365... 366 in a leap year.
Baby Boy Posted July 3, 2005 Posted July 3, 2005 First off, your going to need a database reguardless, no database then no osCommerce. But yeah, if you can clarify one thing I'll be able to better assist, do you mean you don't have a database like "I don't have a MySQL database software installed" or do you mean "I have created a database for saving the information in" Answer which one and I'll assist you further.
