dhotter
Again good evening! Is it possible to prepare the file checkout_process.php in the way, that the product with has the quantity=0 is deactivated in the database, until the quantity is set manually to >0? I need this for products added by customers, e.g. used hardware.
Wendy James
Not entirely sure what you mean but if you go into your admin area and go to the product with a quantity of 0 you can click the red circle and shut off the product until you have more in stock.. then just click the green circle again to have the product show in the catalog. dhotter
Yes, i k know the function. But what i need is the following: You have a product with only one on stock. Now a customer buys the article, so that the stock is empty. In order to prevent another sell of this item which isn't anymore on stock, the product should be automatically deactivated, if quantity=0. You know what I mean? Wendy James
In your admin, go to configuration, then click on stock. There is an option there to allow or not allow sale of items that are not in stock. =) Wendy James Creativity is allowing yourself to make mistakes. Art is knowing which ones to keep. dhotter
Yes, I know. But the product is shown although the quantity=0 is. It is necessary for my shop, that the product wouldn't be displayed. That is the problem...
Wendy James
Sorry, I can't help you with that. I know there are a bunch of contributions that show "out of stock" images, stop an item from being added to the cart if quantity is 0 and so on. No idea how to stop an item from showing up in the store without manually doing it myself. Good luck, I'm sure if someone knows they will come along and tell you how to do it. =) Wendy James Creativity is allowing yourself to make mistakes. Art is knowing which ones to keep.
