SSL not enabled

Hey I just installed it all ok.

But I ticked for everything to use SSL.

I have just discovered that I have SSH enabled not SSL with my host.

Will oscommerce still work with this and how do I change the settings to reflect this now that it is already installed and I have deleted the "install" folder??

You'll just have to change the settings for ssl in your 2 configure.php files. Don't expect too much business without it. Customers don't like sending their data without it; especially cc#s. Better to buy a dedicated ssl cert and do it right. See if your host offers deals. They probably let you share theirs free, but my advice is to get your own. They aren't nearly as expensive as they were just a few years ago.

in catalog/includes/configure.php

define('ENABLE_SSL', false); // secure webserver for checkout procedure?

Same in /catalog/admin/includes/configure.php

Dont forget to Search. Your problem has already been fixed before.<br>
