It just checks that the card number seris and number of digits is correct. Nothing will ever happen with this transactions, and you will never see a cent as long as you do not have a merchant account and a pos system, you should contact these customers and ask them to pay you through PayPal if you want to proceed with these sales. If you want to process creditcards, you should contact your local bank and get a merchant account and then find a payment gateway to process the payments into your merchant account. You can also go with authorize.net directly or through its many reesellers and get a complete package there. Or you can just take payment and credi card payment through PayPal. Jumping Rabbit Posted July 2, 2005 Posted July 2, 2005 The best and safest 3 party payment provider is, worldpay ( worldpay.com ) , it is more expensive than some of the others, but you do not stand in any risk of not getting your money. Paypal is also solid and good, if you use the paypal ipn module, people do not have to login or create account to pay with credit cards. 2checkout.com is also an option There are countless other 3 party payment providers to choose from, but before you choose one do check them out turrely, because alot of shop owners have lost money from unreliable 3 party payment providers in the last few years.
