LOST ORDERS, QUICK FIX (not held)

I'm not sure how helpful this will be very EVERYONE with lost orders. But I use VIAKLIX and I was loosing orders. I downloaded the held orders module, got tired of it, I'd much rather just have the credit card orders go STRAIGHT into the orders like they should! Sheesh!

This is what I realized. I'm pretty sure, for some reason orderprocess.php isn't even being run, it's being SKIPPED 100%, I don't know the deep dark secrets of the store I just did a bandaid fix. This is what I did, I took portions of the code from orderprocess.php and I put them into your checkoutsuccess, the variables are still active because orderprocess hasn't had a chance to unset them so it works!

Problems: I'm tired, so if you get a regular order that works on BOTH you will end up with TWO orders and one of them will be missing some data [take your own time fixing that] (BUT THAT's IT, ONLY 2 orders!)

The good thing is for the orders that are LOST, this nabs them and processes them like a new order (if you are loosing orders because the session is lost, too bad, that's another problem, this might not help, BUT if the session is still active, customer logged on, this should work).

I noticed that when customers kept refreshing the checkoutsuccess.php page that I was getting multiple orders SO I put in a session variable that doesn't allow a refresh 'stop'. I don't unset it anywhere so if you want to unset if at index incase your customer tries to buy something twice go ahead. I'm not going to.

See the $_SESSION['stopreload']="stop"; that is the session variable that stops the customer from refreshing over and over. They can do it, it just won't send more orders. So be creative.

Oh, this plug also sends the confirmation emails. If you were loosing orders, chances are they aren't being sent. So this will send those too. If customer does COD in my store they will get 2 emails. I'll fix that later. Just glad that my sessions dont' kick my customers out at checkout and that my orders go right where they should! Thank goodness. PHP programing and running a store get's very hectice sometimes!

One more thing.

THIS WILL FIX DOUble (unlost orders).

Go to checkoutprocess.php

and find:

tep_redirect(tep_href_link(FILENAME_CHECKOUT_SUCCESS, '', 'SSL'));

Then right above it put

$_SESSION['stopreload']="stop";

This session varialbe will let your checkoutsuccess file know that the order has already been sent, so.... don't send it again.

There you go. Add any other fixes if you find them.
