I have an arrow before the listing of my categories (code below). would anyone know how I can put this in a class and the css input so I would have more control? I tried but it doesnt seem to take effect.

Thanks

// Begin of Code snippet:

if (tep_has_category_subcategories($counter)) {

if ( ($id) && (in_array($counter, $id)) ) {

$categories_string .= '<img src="images/icons/arrow_2.gif" align="middle" alt="">';

} else {

$categories_string .= '<img src="images/icons/arrow_2.gif" align="middle" alt="Antiques Collectibles">';

}

} else {

$categories_string .= '<img src="images/icons/arrow_2.gif" align="middle" alt="Antiques Collectibles">';

}

// End of code snippet
