Moved to new server, now cart keeps dumping

We recently moved from a Ensim server to a cpanel and everything so far works great. However, when a customer is shopping, the cart keeps emptying. Is this a permission item not set right? It was working on old server but is not now.

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks.

This more sounds like your cookie domain settings are not correct for your new server environment (which would mostly give you also permanently oscSid's behind your URL's).

You should check (catalog)/includes/configure.php for the following and try some settings (instead of cookie_path with slash only it might be working with /catalog).

  define('HTTP_COOKIE_DOMAIN', 'www.yourdomain.com');

  define('HTTPS_COOKIE_DOMAIN', 'www.yourdomain.com');

  define('HTTP_COOKIE_PATH', '/');

  define('HTTPS_COOKIE_PATH', '/');

This is the current setting:

define('ENABLE_SSL', true); // secure webserver for checkout procedure?

define('HTTP_COOKIE_DOMAIN', 'http://www.mystore.com');

define('HTTPS_COOKIE_DOMAIN', 'https://www.mystore.com');

define('HTTP_COOKIE_PATH', '/store');

define('HTTPS_COOKIE_PATH', '/store');

define('DIR_WS_HTTP_CATALOG', '/store/');

define('DIR_WS_HTTPS_CATALOG', '/store/');

Should I change to "/" as store is the catalog directory.

Thanks again

Okay, I changed these to this with just the slash and it does not work. Does admin/includes/config.php need to be changed also or just this file?

If someone can check this out, please visit the site knitcetra.com. Everytime you go to add a different product, the original is dumped from the cart and a new session id is made.

Here is Cache control info:

Cache Blocks Date Created Action

Categories Box 06/28/2005 23:21:28 Reset

Manufacturers Box 06/28/2005 22:18:42 Reset

Also Purchased Module 06/29/2005 10:50:51 Reset

Cache Directory: /tmp/

Cache setting:

Title Value Action

Use Cache true

Cache Directory /tmp/

The store is located in the /store directory, but there is a store/catalog directory that just has images...not sure which to point to.

Write the cookie domain(s) without http(s) parts. It should be like www.mystore.com or .mystore.com and this config should be enough.

Nice site BTW !
