Hi forum,

I have just installed 0sCommerce.

I get this error in pink when I visit the index.php through my browser.

Warning Warning: I am able to write to the configuration file: /home/crushin/public_html/os_cart/includes/configure.php. This is a potential security risk - please set the right user permissions on this file.

Also I cant log mysef in, I get an Alert error.

I set /includes/configure.php to be read only, like I saw in a post on this forum,

but the post also said to set a file in the catalog folder to read only.

Only thing is I dont have a catalog folder.

Do I have to create this myself?

No. In your case your catalog folder is called os_cart

If you installed this site using a 1-click install via Fantastico or Ensim from your hosting control panel then try your web hosting user name and password to get into the 'admin' section. If that does not work then use the Directory Protection feature in your web hosting control panel to first remove the protection on 'admin' and then add it again with a user name and password you do know.
