moonbeam
Greetings all, I hope everyone had a nice weekend. I have a bit of a dilema and I am hoping to get some advise on sorting it out. Set-up: I have a small novelty store with an adult catagory. I have the age-page contribution installed at the entrance to that catagory. It just states that it might be offensive in content and you need to be of leagal age to view the products. I am not really sure just how effective this is, but I hope its a deturent for the sensitive types and kiddies. I feel better giving a fair warning. The problem: I have installed shop by price and it shows products from all catagories. Now, entering the products this way bypasses the age-page. Kind of defeats the purpose of having the age-page. Come to think of it, site map does the same thing!?? What would you do? Would you ditch the age-page and just say the hell with it. It seems like I could work on the shop by price and make it ignore the adult catagory. But I don't really know how to tweak it or even if it can be done... Always Greatful, Moon "Woohoo, Just Havin Funnn!"

♥Vger
Also, take a good look at your hosting company's Terms and Conditions. You don't want to find that they suspend your website because of one 'adult' category. Vger
moonbeam
May I ask where in the code should I place the suggested code? I have tried but I keep getting errors... Viger thanks for the reminder but, I don't think a vibrating banana qualifies as porn. Hmmm or does it? Thanks, Moon "Woohoo, Just Havin Funnn!" ♥Vger
Selling 'adult sex toys' will get you suspended by many hosting companies - sorry to say, especially those based in the USA. Also, if you use PayPal to accept payments be very careful of their Acceptable Usage Policy, because many an adult sex toy website finds their PayPal accounts suddenly shut down when PayPal run their random searches of what's been bought using their (PayPal) services. Probably won't happen - but you should be aware of the possibilities. Vger
