Products still there after deleting them

Hi everyone,

 

I have uploaded and deleted products using the manual method and Easy Populate several times in my store and something weird is happening now.

Although I deleted everything a few weeks ago and started with absolutly nothing in the store some product pictures and some Prices (no Product title/ no picture) still pop up in the What`s new in.... box. When I click on them it just says "Product not found!"

 

My question: Has this happened to anyone and how can you fix it? How do I find where these pictures etc are coming from?

Oh, while I`m here, my logo.gif has a weird space on the right side. Does anyone know a trick to make the logo fill exactly the space available.
