Making an Invisible Category

Guest

Recommended Posts

Ok I wanted to make a category where I will be listing some products but I dont want this category to show in the Category Info Box..

Is there a way to prevent the Category name from showing?

I noticed that if I dont name the category it still makes a spot with an arrow in the Category info box.

I really need some help on this..

Thanks

You can add a product outside of the category structure in the regular panel for products. This is useful for linking in a Newsletter as a special just for subscribers. If you wanted you could generate a static page and put the links there. The trouble would be adding to cart and returning to the hidden page.

The contribution is named Enable & Disable Categories and is available for download in the contribution section.
