here is my site....

A few questions...when I click on "My Account"...it goes to my sever/hosting site not mine...why??

 

I have tried to remove the bottom, new product boxes...

in both spots on my index page and it is still there...

 

 

Next question...what is "MySQL"...is that this?

I guess you have a path wrong in catalog/includes/configure.php

 

I have tried to remove the bottom, new product boxes...

I think you have missed one in index.php

 

Next question...what is "MySQL"...is that this?

You have it installed, otherwise your catalog would not work. You may have access via your web hosting control panel. Caution..! Tinker and it will break! Backup....

Look in catalog/includes/configure.php I think the answer may be in there, post a copy of it to the list if you can't see what is wrong. I'm pretty sure you'll find the setup for domain name etc in there.

Everywhere it says "startlogic" should it say "customphotoinvitations"?? WHat am I doing wrong?

This looks like you're trying to set up with a shared ssl cert. I've read there are many bugs in this method. Besides, shoppers don't want to see themselves being redirected to a different url and back while they shop. Get your own cert! I think they're down to $50 or so per year. Then change your config files to your own url and everything will look and work right.
