MYSQL on different port / Cannot install OSC

Help...

I am running a windows server with php4 and the latest mysql... While going through the first install screen in OSC, i can only put my mySQL server address but have no where to enter its port number. MySQL on my server is running on a different port, to strengthen security.

I need to be able to change this. I am not experienced in PHP and am using this project as a kick off to learning a new web language. I have found access to the the two database.php files that are in the functions folders, but am not sure how to change the connection string to grab what i put in the install window and concate the port number to the back of it.. maybe there is a simpler way of doing this.

Please help

In php.ini

; Default port number for mysql_connect(). If unset, mysql_connect() will use

; the $MYSQL_TCP_PORT or the mysql-tcp entry in /etc/services or the

; compile-time value defined MYSQL_PORT (in that order). Win32 will only look

; at MYSQL_PORT.

mysql.default_port =

; Default socket name for local MySQL connects. If empty, uses the built-in

; MySQL defaults.

mysql.default_socket =

; Default host for mysql_connect() (doesn't apply in safe mode).

mysql.default_host =
