You are not protected by a secure SSL connection.

And im quite the newb cuz i have no idea how to fix that... and its disallowing me to go to my store's login.php page and such because it goes from http to https ... there fore the pages do not show up. How can i fix this?

do you have an ssl certificate installed on your server?? if so you can change your top http_server to point to https://www.domain.com however do not do this if you do not have an ssl cert.

My Web Hosting has

Security Features:

SSL Server

Password Protected Directories

i just dont have a clue how to turn my http_server to https... how can I do that? do I do that on my cPanel X or on the admin tools from OS-Commerce?

your host has SSL server - but you need to find out if they offer you a shared SSL certifictate and it's path or if you need to buy your own dedicated SSL cert (i would buy a dedicated one if i were you regardless of what they say.)

once you have this buttoned down - you need to set up your configure.php files (both of them) to process SSL pages and that should be all.

Go to tips and Tricks where you will find a thread on SSL and osComemrce - read that as it may give you the answers you seek - if not revisit forum with further questions.
