jacklawry Posted June 21, 2005 Posted June 21, 2005 I have used oscommerce direct on a server however when installing on osx (faster cheeper testing) with php and mysql installed it all starts to work however i get no error message however on the "New Installation Options" page with both the boxes ticked the continue button goes to mywebserver/catalog/install/install.php?step=2 but this is the same "New Installation Options" page this continue button just keeps going to mywebserver/catalog/install/install.php?step=2 (NOTE: this is also the same with one or none of the boxes ticked) any ideas?

Iggy Posted June 22, 2005 Posted June 22, 2005 I haven't moved to 5 so I can't say. Browsing topics it looks like doing the db import manually as well as your configs is the easy way. Then there are a few more topics detailing changes to osC for various problems. 4.x is the easy way to avoid any hassles for the moment unless you can't downgrade. Personally I'd rather be running 5 as well but why fight it? Iggy Everything's funny but nothing's a joke...
