PWA problems

Guest

Recommended Posts

I have tried 3 times now to get the PWA and PWA straight to checkout working on www.rebmag.com but cannot.

When I install the PWA without the straight to checkout, it does not allow checkout with an account. When I install the straight to checkout, I get an internal server error.

Any assistance would be appreciated

Thanks. This does seem to address my issue to some degree.

I have taken this back to the basic shop and am trying to install one contribution at a time.

I have installed and configured the pwa .82 version and am receiving the following error once I have entered all the required order information.

1054 - Unknown column 'purchased_without_account' in 'field list'

select customers_id, purchased_without_account, customers_firstname, customers_password, customers_email_address, customers_default_address_id from customers where upper(customers_email_address) = '[email protected]' and upper(customers_firstname) = 'TEST' and upper(customers_lastname) = 'CUSTOMER'

[TEP STOP]

As I am unfamiliar with PHP programming, I am at a loss as to what this means.

Can anyone assist?

It means that you didn't install the contribution correctly.

You missed the step that ran some SQL to alter the customers table and add the purchases_without_account column.

NOTE: As of Oct 2006, I'm not as active in this forum as I used to be, but I still work with osC quite a bit.

If you have a question about any of my posts here, your best bet is to contact me though either Email or PM in my profile, and I'll be happy to help.

I do not guess I will be able to install this contribution. It seems that I cannot write to the database on this server. I have tried myphpadmin and other programs. I can connect but they will not add the information or the program hangs up and has to be terminated. I do not have that large of a database either.

Now, I have backed up my database and if anyone has the structure I could simply copy that to the backup and reinstall it? Would that work?

Other than changing hosting companies, I do not know what to do.
