niknakgroup Posted June 21, 2005 Posted June 21, 2005 OK, from the top: 1. Try playing with your stylesheet.css. A few small changes in this file can really personalise the look of your store. It is apparent looking at your site that you have put lots of time and effort in, but it still LOOKS like the stock osc site. 2. You have LOADS of language options. However, the products do not have descriptions in the foreign languages. If I only spoke Greek, this would really p#*& me off! Either lose them or populate the descriptions fully. You also have a few box headings which arent defined in foreign languages, and therefore throw the layout of your site out if a language is selected. 3. The Oscommerce text at the bottom. Its not a link, so either make it a link which matches the style of the rest of your site, or lose it altogether - btw, it has to be a link for your site to be reviewed in this section of the forums...;) 4. I think you are on a shared server, as the first time i went around your site it worked fine, now I keep getting another jewellery store when I click your links. Quite funny, 'cos apart from the header logo and the actual content, it looks just like your site......Seach the forums for how to fix errorrs on shared servers, been addressed loads of times, dont want to flog an old horse etc. etc. :blink: Ummm, cant help anymore, sorry. Everytime i try to go through your site I end up at the hairaccessory site instead. Until you fix that one, you're pretty much stuck - you wont get any orders! Good luck, and let us know when you are ready for some more (hopefully) constructive criticism.... :blush: Please note - if I have suggested a contrib above, it doesnt mean it will work! Most of the contribs are not ones I've used, but may be useful for your particular problem.... Have you tried a refined search? The powered by oscommerce has been fixed with a link. Would like some suggestions on which colour to use on the website so i can change it in stylesheet.css :lol:
