Firm price with COD in payment section

Recommended Posts

Hi folks!

In the second checkout phase (payment) I've got two options for my customers. Creditcard and COD (cash on delivery).

Does anyone know how I could charge a firm fee for COD and then keep creditcard orders free of charge?

I can't seem to find a way to set a firm fee in the payment section to my payment choices... Hope someone could help me and maybe give me an URL to a module maybe? If there isn't a module for this a guide to how I can make it happen would be great!

Thanks

there's a contrib called payment charge that can do this for you.

Why osC is made so that payments can't be charged by default, is beyond me, it's standard, at least in Denmark.

But that contrib fixes all that :)

One more thing...

After searching I couldn't find this module... Do you have a URL?

In my shop I want to charge firm prices for delivery, no mather where the customers are ordering from or how much they are ordering.

i installed the mod and it's working fine, one important thing was to have this in order like so:

Cash on Delivery Fee 4

Low Order Fee 0

Shipping 2

Sub-Total 1

Tax 3

Total 5

question:

in the grand total the COD surcharge is labeled as "fixed payment type charge", i took a quick look at changing it to the more appropriate "COD surcharge" but there is a lot of code with the "fixed payment type charge" identifier. is there an easy way to change this so it doesn't say "fixed payment type charge"? ;)

Well, try just changing it in the language file?
