Is it possible to visit your own store and 'buy' goods without having to pay (i.e for the purpose of removing the goods from stock)

 

We have a physical as well as online store, and I would like my staff to be able to remove a product from stock when it is sold in the physical store without having to go into admin and/or fiddle with the database.

 

Can anybody suggest a solution?

There are some I believe, but none that are any quicker than going to your osCommerce 'admin' panel, locating the item in your Catalog listing and reducing the quantity by one and clicking update.

 

If you want a record of the order being made on your osCommerce site then just set up an admin account and run the offline orders through as Check/Money Order sales.

Thanks for that, and it may well be that I have to use that method.

My only problem is that I didnt want my staff in the admin panel!

 

Also, can you tell me where I can find details of how to set up an admin account?
