Help with the index page please

Can anybody tell me:

 

1. Where the above text is located

2. How to move the text to the very top of the page

On your index.php look for

 

<?php echo tep_customer_greeting(); ?>

 

Not sure what you mean by move it to the top though, as it is the first thing that shows up on the index.php other than a spacer line.

 

Do you mean how do you put it in your header?

If you want to put it in the header you should try and blend it in with your design in catalog/includes/header.php
