Pointing to the Store

Hi all

 

I am new to osCommerece. I am using a web-hosting company that supports osCommerce apps (www.startlogic.com) and went through the osCommerce install without any problems. I created a sample store, I?ll call it ?boo? for discussion.

 

I added some categories, a few items, etc.

 

How do I go about calling the store? I suspect I need to add a link from one of my webpages (probably my homepage) but I am not positive.

You might need to clarify that. Normally you would 'call' the story by typing the URL in the browsers Address bar and hitting enter.

If your site is www.example.com and your store is installed in a directory in the root of the public webspace called boo, you'd get to your store with the URL http://www.example.com/boo. Or, if you set up a subdomain, http://boo.example.com. The admin console can then be accessed from http://www.example.com/boo/admin or http://boo.example.com/admin
