dolby411 Posted June 15, 2005 Posted June 15, 2005 Hey all - first post- I have successfully installed osCommerce for one of our companies - big thanks to all who have been developing and contributing to osCommerce. I am now trying to install it for our other company. Now this second site is located in a subfolder within our first site I just mentioned. (For example www.firstsite.com/secondsite). The domain name points to this folder and masks the location so when you type in www.secondsite.com, that's what you see in the address bar. Now that that's explained, here's the issue. I pretty much copied over the files I had for the first site install into the second site subfolder. In oscommerce/includes/config.php and admin/includes/config.php I had to change www.secondsite.com to www.firstsite.com/secondsite/ for the catalogue and images to show up. That works fine now....I just can't get into the admin. The browser prompts for a login into "osCommerce Admin" on www.firstsite.com. I never had to login for the first site. Any insight would be appreciated. Dave
crash3903 Posted June 15, 2005 Posted June 15, 2005 sounds like someone has secured the folder through a control panel? Regards Mark A Reynolds
dolby411 Posted June 15, 2005 Author Posted June 15, 2005 That could be - I'll double check the file permissions on it. Dave
dolby411 Posted June 15, 2005 Author Posted June 15, 2005 Checked and changed the file permissions on all the files inside of admin. Still prompts for a password. Any other ideas?
