babakt Posted June 15, 2005 Posted June 15, 2005 Hello, Just installed osCommerce 2.2-MS2 this last weekend. Everything seems to be working fine. When looking at the various settings in the Admin panel, when I click "File Manager" under "Tools" I see the following error: Warning: dir(/home/mywebsite/mywebsite-www/): failed to open dir: Permission denied in /home/mywebsite/mywebsite-www/admin/file_manager.php on line 178 Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /home/mywebsite/mywebsite-www/admin/file_manager.php on line 179 File Manager /home/mywebsite/mywebsite-www/ How do I fix this? Thanks.
Wendy James Posted June 15, 2005 Posted June 15, 2005 Not sure how to fix it but i wouldnt worry about it if everything else is working, you should never use the file manager. There are known bugs. someone may come along that knows how to fix the error though, if it is causing problems somewhere else as well. To edit files you need to download them to your computer using an ftp client, edit them (can use any editer including notepad) then reupload them. babakt Posted June 15, 2005 Author Posted June 15, 2005 Thanks for the prompt response. Have not found anything that it is affecting yet so I guess I'll disregard it for now. I did not find anything in the documentation for "File Manager". What is the intent of this function anyway? Thanks again.
