♥Vger Posted June 16, 2005 Posted June 16, 2005 First thing to do is to FTP to your site and rename the admin folder to something unique (not admin2 or newadmin). Then in admin/includes/configure.php look for the two references to /admin/ and change to /newname/. This will make it much harder for would-be hackers to even find your 'admin' panel. Once you've done that, go to your web hosting control panel (not your osCommerce control panel), and look for a feature called Directory Protection (or something similar) and use that to password protect the newly renamed 'admin' folder.
