Found a fix for my needs - a little different

Here's what I need (this is for SHIPPING):

 

DOMESTIC (Meaning USA and Puerto Rico)

$2 dollars for first item and $1 for ea additional one

 

INTERNATIONAL (Meaning All Other Countries)

$4 dollars for first item and $2 for ea additional one

 

How can I do this?

 

I already have the contribution that adds: First Item $X, Additional Items $Y

But how can I specify that I want First Item $X, Additional Items $Y for Domestic & a different rate for international?

In your first post you put a link to the FirstItemPlus contribution, which is what I actually need - but I need 4 different ones. All I did was:

 

copy, rename and give a different title to the language firstitemplus.php file

 

then edit the TITLE and DESCRIPTION fields and change the name of the file to the new one [firstitemplus2 instead of all firstitmeplus instances]

 

then copied and renamed the modules file, and changed all calls from firstitemplus to show firstitemplus2 for example].

 

This allows me to have as many different types of shipping as I want with first item plus additional costs as I want - - USPS, USPS Priority, UPS ground, International, etc etc

 

Again, probably not very elegant but it works for me - considering that I'm a newbie not all that bad me thinks LOL

 

Couldn't have even thought of it without reading through the extensive posts in the forums and contributions section - super community assistance here - THANKS TO ALL!
