Shipping/Packaging

Hi !

 

I am a newbee to OSCommerce. I've set up my store pretty easily. However I am having an issue with shipping/payment. We have selected UPS and Paypal.

 

Our products come from 3 different locations. Massachusetts, Utah & Pennsylvannia.

 

How do I set this up to happen?

 

Please HELP!!!!! :'(

The MVS contribution will do this for you. The code is in Beta testing right now, but it's close enough to the final release that it's probably safe for you to play with. Check the link in my sig for the download, and you can read up on the development effort in this thread.

I've replaced the files per the download of MVS and I can't get to my admin panel.

I get this error:

 

1146 - Table 'regalvis-osc.vendor_configuration' doesn't exist

select configuration_key as cfgKey, configuration_value as cfgValue from vendor_configuration

[TEP STOP]

 

what have I done? Aggggh!

You need to update your database. MVS includes several new tables and a bunch of changes to existing tables. The file mvs.sql in the distribution contains the changes. Just run that file with whatever database management tool you use.

Any idea when MVS will become part of an OSC upgrade?

I'm not a programer & afriad of changing all that code.

MVS will likely be a Contribution in the next couple of weeks. If you mean part of the core distribution of osCommerce, I'd have to say never. It is very useful to a relatively small group of people, so it is ideally suited to be a Contribution.
