Cant Log-in, Create Account Or Checkout

Hi Guys / Gals,

 

Sorry to annoy people with this but i have just started to work with osCommerce and am having major problems with things. I cant set up any new accounts, Cant log-in and also i cant checkout after buying sumthing. I just keep getting sent to the Page Cant Be Displayed Page

 

I am not sure how to do this so i am holding my hands out to anybody with more knowledge than me.

you most likely do not have an ssl account, thus edit your includes/configure.php file and set ssl_enable to false

Ohhhh. Sorry to be a idiot. but how do i get one of those?

Check with your hosting company - they should have a shared ssl you can use at no extra cost. If they charge for it, think of moving hosts.

Hi. they gave me the details that i needed to enter into the control panel for the shared SSL, i have done it all but i am still having problems with the log in and create account stuff.( basically : everything that needs an SSL connection
